A Lifetime of Manufacturing Off-Road Equipment
All Can-Am® off-road vehicles are manufactured by BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) in Valcourt, Quebec. In 1937 Joseph-Armand Bombardier patented the "B7 snowmobile," and his invention took the world by storm! The company manufactures a diverse assortment of powersports and watersports vehicles under several well-known brand names including Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo and Evinrude. We currently employ a team of 7,600 and operate in 107 countries and six continents. Our vehicles include the Maverick, Renegade and Outlander vehicles.
Can-Am Knows How to Play Dirty!
Can-Am offers the most complete and diverse lines of mud-specific off-road vehicles in the industry, but we’re definitely not finished! Our engineers strive to continuously offer better performance at lower costs, and your safety is our top priority. The first step in creating lifetime customers is getting them back to camp safely!
Rotax Engines Under The Hood
Can-Am® vehicles are all powered by Rotax engines which require no break-in maintenance. Rotax celebrated its centennial in 2020, and is one of the most respected names in powersport engines. You can always count on rugged design and superior performance with a Rotax engine, and you’ll enjoy best-in-class torque with power to spare no matter how rough the terrain might be!
Entering the Side-by-Side Marketplace
In 2011 the first Can-Am® Commander™ UTV was released, and it has become one of the most sought-after vehicles for hunting camps throughout the world. In 2016 we followed up with our Defender® side-by-sides. The UTV market is highly competitive, and we created the Defender as an everyday workhorse. You can have as much fun as you want on the weekends, and then put your Defender right back to work on your farm or ranch Monday morning!
