Service Manager
Advantage Powersports is the largest franchised dealer north of the river in Kansas City that sells motorcycles, ATV's, Side X Sides, personal watercraft, generators, and anything powersports-fun that you can think of to service or ride!
We are looking to add a Service Manager to our Service Department. If you have prior experience with motorcycles, watercraft, ATVs, etc. or have done similar work in a different field, such as the automotive industry or other service industry, you may qualify for this position.
The Service Manager will be responsible for managing the front-end operations of our Service Department and is capable of the following:
• Managing multiple Technicians and Advisors/Writers
• Following Service Appointment Process
• Set and follow processes in collaborating with Parts and Sales departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Manage and resolve customer issues with genuine empathy to gain customer trust
• Warranty Processing and Tracking
• Tracking Shop Productivity and Efficiency
• Knowledgeable on Service Upsell
• Documenting Hours per R/O, Parts per R/O, Multi-Point Inspection Process, Parts to Service Process, etc.)
• Committing to supporting the Sales Department.
• Employee hiring and development
• Able to stay detail oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-brand knowledge and Lightspeed experience a plus.
Physical Demands:
Must have the ability to sit, stand and frequently move quickly around the dealership and stage customer units.
Advantage Powersports offers a competitive pay plan that includes both health and life insurance, vision and dental coverage, Simple IRA, PTO and employee discounts. This position is full- time, 8:30am-6ish, Tuesday-Friday and then 8:30a-4ish on Saturday.
Must pass drug screening and background check. A valid US drivers license with an M endorsement is preferred.
